Eric Rongstad began his insurance career in 1991 when he worked as an agent for the Farmers Insurance Group in their Edina, MN office. After two years with Farmers, he left to open the Golden Valley office of the Rongstad Insurance Group. This office was called R.I.G. Metro.
In March of 2025, Rongstad Insurance merged with the Nesbit Agencies and Eric moved into the Nesbit agency office in Minnetonka.
Eric’s focus is personal insurance. He works mostly with individuals and families to cover their personal insurance needs with products like auto and homeowners insurance from our list of many fine companies.
Eric graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. After beginning his career in insurance, he has earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
